Eternity Zeus
Eternity
is there.
Your
kingdom come,
laying
still like blank canvas.
Rush
forth, create.
The
world trembles under
the
thunder in the skies.
But
the drowning man once said,
“It
is he who’s weighed down with
stone,
who struggles most for life.”
And
what have you done?
From the top the clouds,
lightning
in hand,
you
look at it all.
Immortality
is not
without
responsibility.
Oh
Zeus,
let
them have fire!
